Most Americans are terrified by the prospect of public speaking, but being capable and comfortable speaking in public is so empowering. You are never too old to learn and benefit from the skill. We will work on projecting our voices – and our presence. We will look at breath control and the theatrics of effective speaking. We will see how to set up written drafts to make delivery easier. We will look at the speaking styles of famous orators, and we will practice
delivering some of the pivotal speeches of American history.
