In 1992, psychologist Richard Bentall wrote a satirical article in the Journal of Medical Ethics where he argued that happiness is a mental health condition. Despite the satire, he points to a really revealing fact that happiness is rare. This course interprets research about happiness using a self-assessment at the beginning and end of the course. Each class explores aspects of happiness; participants will share insights, imitate the research and grow in the image of happiness.
