This course is an introduction to theater for theater goers. We will examine every aspect of what it takes to mount a production. The goal is to expand your understanding and appreciation of the shows you have seen—and will see. There is just a lot that goes into taking page to stage. After all, to quote The Leading Player from the opening number of Pippin, “We’ve got magic to do, just for you.” Come for a good look behind the curtain.
