Ernest Hemingway

ALL1533-C    12 Weeks     Thursday 9:00-10:20     Start Date 17-Sep
Grossman 106      Limit 25

Enjoy the short stories of Ernest Hemingway, a complex and gifted individual who dominated American literature for 50 years and more. Using the Great Books format, students will read stories at home, then come together to discuss them in depth and in detail. With a shared and inquiring analysis of the literature, we will travel with Hemingway to Spain, France, Key West Florida and Africa. It is fun to examine the writer’s style in depth and discover how he grew to be such a phenomenal writer. Thanks to fellow coordinator, Lew Taylor for allowing us to continue what he started.
