It is never too late to start a new business and it is easier than ever with the help of AI tools. This course is designed to show how to develop an online business using AI. We begin where every good business begins by identifying a problem and creating a solution. From there, we move through every stage of building a real, working business, including the infrastructure that holds it together, a business plan that actually guides decisions, the creation or development of the product or service, a professional website that does not require a developer, and a marketing strategy that reaches the right people in the right way. AI is woven into every session as a collaborator, business partner and creator. No prior business or technical experience required. A class website will be provided as a repository of class materials, presentations and artifacts.
Coordinator: Heather Wilson 
Heather is a longtime educator and entrepreneur who holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology. She spent much of her career in the hospice field and founded and sold several successful companies, including an online education platform specifically for hospice professionals. Her lifelong interest in technology is now directed towards leveraging the massive capabilities of AI to save time, make life easier and navigate the challenges of aging.
