Is your retirement plan built to last—or just built on assumptions? Are you confident your financial plan will hold up through retirement—or just hoping it will? This course challenges participants to think critically about their financial future in a world of uncertainty. We will examine how to build a plan around your unique situation—income sources, family needs, current expenses, and long-term goals—while confronting real questions about risk, longevity, and market unpredictability. We will  explore a wide range of investment choices, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, collectibles, and less liquid assets—not just what they are, but how (and whether) they fit into a retirement strategy. This is an information-only course designed to encourage open discussion, differing viewpoints and practical thinking. Weekly handouts and articles will support an engaging and interactive class experience. Participants should consult their financial planner, attorney or accountant for specific advice.
