We will select from Heather Cox Richardson (US history), Joyce Vance (US Attorney), Christopher Armitage (Public Policy), Paul Krugman (Economist), Timothy Snyder (European history), Robert Reich (Lawyer) etc., as well as major newspapers. The authors offer a different perspective through their own professional perspective of the news. There may be a guest speaker with a background in government. Reading/podcast assignments will be sent out on Tuesday morning prior to Thursday’s class. Please read two assignments and review the questions prior to the first class and be prepared to introduce yourself.
