This course offers a look at some of the best-known and highly regarded poetry from England and America. A typical class will highlight three or four poems for reading and in-depth discussion. This course does not repeat any previous ones and will feature entirely new content. We continue to promise timeless verse for pleasure, reflection and good conversation. We will use 100 Best-Loved Poems, edited by Philip Smith.
