This popular and lively class is based on “The Economist”, a weekly publication acclaimed for its coverage and analysis of world events, politics, business, technology, the arts and other issues of current interest. Each week, we will discuss the previous week’s edition. After the first session, volunteers will choose articles and lead the discussion for subsequent weeks. Access to the Economist is a requirement for the course. Short and long-term subscriptions are available in printed and/or digital form directly from www.economist.com. The Economist articles for the first class will be sent by the coordinator during the prior week.
