Do you have a special skill, a lifelong passion or valuable career experience you would like to share with others? Then consider becoming a coordinator with ALL! Coordinators lead courses and facilitate discussions with a community of curious and engaged lifelong learners.
Already a member? If you have taken courses at ALL, then you are familiar with our classes—held in the classroom, on Zoom or in a hybrid format. And many of our coordinators started out just like you—curious fellow learners wanting to explore a topic of interest in literature, history, current events, arts and culture, or any other topic of personal interest.
New to ALL? Welcome! We encourage you to join us by enrolling in a course or two to learn about our exciting and substantial course offerings, and to discover what makes the ALL community so special.
Want to learn more? Start by contacting the ALL office at lifelonglearning@capecod.edu or 774-330-4400. Please complete the New Coordinator Contact Form and email it to the ALL office.
The process is simple:
- You will be connected to a member of the Curriculum Committee, who will discuss your course idea, help with a course outline and register you in our system.
- You will be guided through the process of submitting your course proposal to our online portal. You will also be invited to a Curriculum Committee Zoom meeting, where you will receive helpful feedback and suggestions to strengthen your course. This will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
- Committee members will ensure your course is registered and is scheduled on your preferred day and time. You will also receive ongoing support with any audio-visual, photocopying or logistical needs.
Bonus. We are all volunteers! Coordinators are not paid, but as compensation for helping make the program successful and enriching, you are eligible to enroll in any ALL classes free of charge during the semester you are teaching.
We truly value our coordinators. Let’s learn together!
