Chair yoga is a gentle standing and sitting yoga practice using a chair for support and modifications. It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities who wish to improve their flexibility, strength and overall wellbeing. During class, we will move through a series of basic poses, which we will repeat each week so that you become comfortable and familiar enough to continue the practice at home. Respecting the various levels of experience and unique body types, modifications will be offered and encouraged. The class will run approximately 45 minutes followed by a water break, and will conclude with a 15-minute guided meditation. Please wear loose comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle to class.

Carol has a background in dance and creative movement, with a lifelong commitment to physical fitness. After discovering Anusara Yoga and meditation many years ago, she found them to be the ideal balance to her dedicated workout regimen. Carol is excited to share these practices with all of you!
