Whether you are looking for relief from stress or an outlet from boredom – or just need a change of pace, this course can help you find your new passion. In our fifth semester, we will continue to inspire and motivate you with a sampling of activities: Introduction to Bridge (Christopher Senie); How to write a murder mystery (Jeannette de Beauvoir); Navigating travel in an online world (Susan Griffin); Making a sailor’s valentine (Christa Edlund); Needlepoint (Lisa Critzer); and Making cheese at home (Pat McKean). We will provide any equipment you might need. Please come to relax and have fun!

Pat has taught many classes at ALL, including how to teach science and math using children’s literature, understanding climate change and, most recently, a history course. She co-chairs the Sandwich Public Library Book Group. She is a manuscript reviewer for the NSTA journal Science and Children. She will be moderating this course.
